Rushlight Events are launching the Rushlight Innovation Capital Network (RICN) with the first network meeting for cleantech investors on Monday 5 March at Albannach, 66 Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DS.

 

 

This inaugural event will involve a handover from Clean Capital, the London-based corporate finance advisers, who ran the highly successful Clean Capital Champagne Box events, but who now continue their business development activity in a different way.   The former venue of the Champagne Box events, The Chopper Lump, has closed down and so this new venue in the heart of London has been chosen.

 

 
The Cleantech stream of the RICN, the Clean Innovation Capital Network, is being held in association with Cleantech Investor Magazine.  

 

The evening will provide an excellent networking opportunity in convivial surroundings, interrupted only by a series of short presentations (3-4 minutes) by companies looking to raise their profile with the investor community with a view to attracting new funds in the short to medium term.

Each quarter, there will ultimately be an investor network event for ICT, Life and Cleantech.  They will take place on the first Monday of the month which is not a bank holiday. 

So, each quarter it will be:

First month – ICT, ie January, April, July, October.

Second month – Life, ie February, May, August, November.

Third month – Cleantech, ie March, June, September, December.

 

The RICN is being launched with the cleantech event.  We are aiming to launch the Life investor stream in the summer and the ICT Innovation Capital Network in the autumn.
